In June 2012, the KSE M.A. Program graduated its 14th class. Thirty-four students successfully defended their theses, bringing the total number of KSE graduates to 516.

Among the employers of the recent graduates are the following companies: McKinsey, Kraft Foods, Troika Dialog, European Investment Bank (Luxemburg), Dragon Capital, Procter & Gamble, Ukrnafta, UkFinance, SimCorp, Ernst & Young, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Also, some of the recent KSE graduates continue their studies at the Ph.D. programs in the following universities: Princeton, Berkeley, Bocconi, Arizona State, and Houston.

At the same time, 38 students completed their first year of studies and began their second year of studies in September 2012. As a result of the admission exams held in July 2012, 39 students started their study at KSE in September 2012. As in previous years, the newly admitted students came from all regions and represented the best Ukrainian and Moldovan universities. They have undergraduate and master degrees in economics and finance (60%), mathematics and technical fields (22%), and other disciplines. Forty-three percent of the newly admitted class is women.

So far, we have received commitments from more than 90 KSE graduates to support the School during the next three years for the total amount of about $58,000.

The KSE Alumni Master Classes are the events regularly conducted by KSE graduates for KSE students and potential applicants. The events include presentations by representatives of KSE graduates on sharing their business, industry and policy knowledge. The event is concluded by a Q & A session.

The KSE internship program is an outstanding opportunity for KSE students to gain practical experience and to apply their economic training to real-life situations.

During the academic year, second-year students can work as interns on a part-time basis.

Starting the 2012-13 academic year, an internship program is included in the academic curriculum for the one year MA Programs in Financial Economics and for the one year MA in Business Economics, meaning that students who study at those programs are required to participate in the internship program.
